Airy spring bedding: Bring a cosy yet airy touch with mix and match colours and prints

We are heading into spring now. There are still some cold nights ahead but you want bedding that feels cosy and airy. Something that feels fresh but reminds you of spring flowers and bird song in the mornings.

Since starting MYRN Silk I've really started to play around with new bedding combinations and I'm just loving the mix and match of different colour and prints. Gone are my boring white and grey, in are pinks, greens and blues.

For Spring, a washed cotton duvet cover brings that snuggly soft feeling without feeling as heavy as brushed cotton or too light, like linen. I love this combo I discovered as part of our first MYRN Silk photoshoot - it combines a beautiful dark teal washed cotton duvet cover and Oxford pillowcases (this particular set is from M&S X Fired and Earth in Hesper it's even now on sale) - it's soft to the touch and so inviting. But it felt too dark on it's own, I like a light and airy feel to a bedroom, so to add some light texture, I teamed it with these gorgeous Yard Hebden Blush Stripe washed cotton Oxford pillowcases and matching bedsheet. I like the thin stripe - it adds a touch of colour and depth without overwhelming.

This dark green with light pink and white combo is so airy, fresh and inviting! And guess what - it goes perfectly with our Pink Leopard Print silk pillowcase design! A smooth pure mulberry silk pillowcase to protect your hair and skin from friction, paired with beautifully soft washed cotton sheets and covers makes the perfect night time combination for a more restful and comfortable sleep.
